If you're like me, sometimes you just get stuck in a cooking rut, making the same things over and over again. I'm too lazy or too busy ( or both) to dig out cookbooks and find some new ideas. And then there is the problem of whether it's going to taste good. Which is why the best recipes are often from friends - they are tried and true! So let's share some - I know I could use some new ones.
I'm going to try the new Typepad feature called pages ( see Go Beyond Blogging ) where you can add a web page and then keep updating it - I thought it would be good to let this project have it's own page. It will be called Recipe Rounds.
Here's the basic idea....each week we'll do a different topic and everyone will digiscrap a 4x6 inch recipe card of their favorite recipe or recipes. Then you will upload your layout to a file sharing service. Don't worry if you don't know how to do that - I have a tutorial on that coming. On your blog, make a post about your card and include the download link, then go to DigiShopTalk and post that you did a card on the Recipe Rounds thread for that week. Make sure you give us a link to your blog post. Then we can visit all the blogs, download the cards and print them. At the end we will all have a whole bunch of gorgeous digiscrapped recipe cards with wonderful recipes from all our friends.

LOVE this recipe round idea! Now I just need to get off my butt and digi-scrap some! ;)
