Woo-hoo! I'm template free!! I have been trying to figure out how to design my blog without using a template. So on and off for the last week or so I have been playing around with the site. Today, I decided was THE day to do it ....so here I sat ...doing and re-doing and re-re-doing. I think I got it right. [Finally! ] Making the header was fun but figuring out how to upload and adjust it took awhile. Computers think way too literally for me - I'm the kind who would rather sort of eyeball stuff than measure it. Doesn't work to well with things that count each and every pixel. It kept cutting of part of the paper. Or giving me a wierd colored background just because I didn't ask it to save the changes. Good grief! Hmmm....notice how I blame the computer....why not? It can't answer back!
Credit where credit is due: The two green papers are from Bit of Country Charm by Angela Sharrow; the salmon paper and circles are from Gracie by Krista Mettler; the bottle cap and fibers are from Strawberry Fields by Sarah Davis; the font is Augie by Emerald City Fontworks; the snowman was made from Krista Mettler's papers using the snowman crop shape in FxFoto and then drawing on it - I guess that makes me [almost] the designer (lol)
