DD#2 is on the cross country team this fall and actually seems to really enjoy racing. She's not all that fast but she has a good time and it is certainly good excercise.

As for how she did...well....today was not a stellar race. She pulled a hamstring muscle last week but she did beat one girl so she didn't come in last! Go Steph!
I'm back again. I know it has been awhile - so long that Typepad's interface has changed and I feel like I'm learning it all over again. Nonetheless here's a summary of our summer....
Graduation - from middle school for Steph
Summer vacation centered around the theater for both girls. Cynthia kept busing doing sound for a variety of shows at a variety of places all over NH. She really seems to love doing it and actually made some money. How nice to be able to make money doing what you love - that's a great thing! Stephanie spent several weeks at Shakespeare in the Valley doing a camp and being part of the professional show "Merry Wives of Windsor". She and Steve stayed up there which let him do a lot of hiking. Unfortunately although I work for a college, our program is year round so I don't get summers off but I did take quite a few long weekends.
Hmm...I don't have any pictures of Cynthia from the summer. There was the annual Rocky Horror Picture Show trip. Let's hope certain people's mothers don't find this as they think their daughter went wearing a tee shirt and jeans ;-)
